Welcome to Martin Barrass Mania!
Who, I hear you cry????!!!! Martin Barrass is the only true thespian of our time. Of Heartbeat, Emmerdale and York Theatre Royal Panto fame, Martin Barrass is a theatrical genius not to be reckoned with.
His theatre work at the Theatre Royal includes: 'Cider With Rosie', 'Kes', 'Elephant Man' (In which, and sorry Martin, but this is so funny, he played the title role!), 'She Stoops to Conquer', 'Habeas Corpus', 'Up 'n' Under' and 'Bouncers', more recently he played King Louis XIII in 'The Three Musketeers'. Other television work includes 'Angels', 'Dramarama' and 'Book Tower'. He is married (we find it difficult to believe, given his penchant for skipping) with two children, and lives in the historic city of York, England.
Other than this we know little about our fair Martin, other than he is an extremely nice and down to earth kinda fella! We hope to establish contact with the great man himself soon, and from there we will hopefully find out a bit more about him. So stay tuned. In the meantime have a look around our little site!

The World of Martin Barrass.....
Unfortunately at this present moment in time we know little about his hobbies, but be sure, we will investigate. We do know, though, that he does like to visit various educational establishments in and around York where strangely enough, drama teachers seem to fall for his alluring qualities. And, we have noticed that he always seems to be sporting the famous black jumper, with a white diamond pattern (the height of fashion at RADA, or so we are told). We wonder what he does in the rest of his time off work (Isn't that 365 days per year? Oh yeah, there is the panto season isn't there?)
